, Unified CPN Maoists today managed to placate the Nepali Congress to run the house proceedings smoothly. The deal was reached in a meeting between the two parties at Singha Durbar. Following assurances from prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to fulfill the nine point demands, NC agreed not to disrupt the house proceedings from today. Dahal is expected to make a statement in this regard in parliament later today. Ram Sharan Mahat, Laxman Ghemire, Sobhakar Parajuli and Praksah Sharan Mahat from the Nepali Congress and Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Posta Bahadur Bogati and Dev Gurung from the Unified Maoists took part in the meeting.
